Malaysia is a modern country with many varieties of food, and sometimes it can be overwhelming to choose from the many options planted in your head. Today, I will only be writing about the beautiful, "Instagrammable" cafes for you to visit whilst travelling around the city of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor to have a decent meal, and most importantly capture some beautiful shots for your Instagram.

1. Pokok KL

Pokok KL is located at MAHSA University, has been getting many attentions from cafe-goers as to their unique glass house architecture design. The cafe seems like an urban greenhouse, while focusing on simplicity concept yet aesthetic which highlights on the flooring, ceiling and rooftop glass exterior. Furthermore, the interior of the cafe focuses a vintage look of brick walls for a rustic finish. Outdoor spaces are available too for the customers who prefer the natural breeze of wind with tree shades. 

In terms of food, the cafe serves a variety of food such as: light bites, soups, salads, pasta, nasi lemak, and breakfast platters as main course. In addition, desserts are also available in POKOK KL such as: pies, pastries, and croissant. 

2. Kettlebell

Kettlebell is located at Plaza Mont Kiara, just right in front of the Firefighter gym. The cafe serves a more healthier brunch and rice bowls to target the more health conscious customers who typically are the gym members themselves and anyone who enjoys eating clean. 

The concept of the cafe is almost all pink, and they even serve pink colour latte!! The tables are made of marbles, so customers can get a beautiful flatlay shots done with the pretty pink plates served for their Instagram. 

The menu is filled with nutritious protein dishes, healthy light snacks (overnight oats), smoothies and coffee. Furthermore, customers can customise their preferable rice or salad bowls or choose from the 4 presented rice bowls on the menu.

Flavourest is a bear-themed cafe in Zenith Corporate Park which is located in Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya where not only can customers get a taste of the very cute yet delicious eateries, it is an Insta-worthy spot for anyone who wants to take a picture or two or three maybe 5 on Instagram, as the cafe has bears of every kind, colours, and sizes placed in every corner of the cafe. The cafe also serves various bear-themed desserts and coffee art. Besides that. Flavourest is also open to customising cakes for their customers according to their liking or for event and party purposes. 

The cafe is located behind of the Paradigm Shopping Mall, and it is accessible via public transportation like LRT to the Kelana Jaya station, and taking a GrabCar service or hailing a cab to the cafe, which only takes 10 minutes from the LRT station. 

4. Black Tower Coffee

The Black Tower Coffee Cafe is located in Cheras with the concept of Paris inspiration. The outside of the cafe stands a tall Eiffel Tower placed at its garden. Customers will be able to enjoy the bright lights from the Eiffel Tower during the night whether seated inside or outside the cafe. Moreover, the cafe serves Western cuisine, desserts and coffee art inspired by the Eiffel Tower. Customers will also be able to enjoy live bands performances during weekends.

La Fleur x Unicorn is a unicorn-themed cafe, which has been one of the most popular cafes in 2019. It is located at Sunway Geo Avenue, Bandar Sunway and has been attracted by millennial who are obsessed with unicorns. The cafe serves pretty unicorn inspired desserts such as: ice cream with rainbow sprinkles, cakes and waffles. Moreover, customers get to choose a unicorn onesies which are provided by the cafe to take pictures in.
